The Retreat is the original Flag Springs homestead. This spacious 4 bedroom home is self contained, consisting of 1 king (or 2 singles), 1 queen & 2 twin rooms.
The open plan, fully equipped kitchen, has a dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, kettle, toaster & large fridge/ freezer. Laundry facilities available
.
The comfortable lounge/dining room has TV/DVD & a C/D stereo with iPod dock.
2 bathrooms, a shower and toilet inside and a separate bathroom connected to the covered entertainment area.
The homestead also has a large rumpus room including extra beds or can be used as an indoor work space.
A large covered entertainment area consists of a kitchen, bathroom, BBQ, fire pit, tables & chairs. It is also ideal as a shaded outdoor workspace. |

Doonas, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided.
There are no shops, fuel or alcohol outlets once you leave Chinchilla, so it is essential that you bring enough food and supplies for your stay, including art materials, camera equipment, binoculars etc.
There is also no mobile reception at Flag Springs, for your added relaxation!

Some attractions, within an hours drive from Flag Springs include the iconic Cracow Hotel and the Auburn River National Park and Falls.
